The Bog Rolling Stones formed a while back with one aim in mind: to inject a little fun and tongue-in-cheek humour into the all too serious world of tribute bands. Realising that it is impossible to take ones self seriously whilst prancing about on stage in a wig and stripy trousers, the bands attitude revolves around high energy, no holds barred entertainment. (Not to mention shouting Yeaaaaaaahhhhhhh, baaayyyyybeeeee! at every opportunity) Band members slip in and out of character at opportune moments and wigs have been known to fly across the room. Then, just when you think its simply theatre, Keefs ice pick guitar strikes a nerve, the rhythm section plugs in and the music reaches up, grabs Mick by the ankle and pulls him under!

The Bog Rolling Stones are now one of the most popular, sought after live bands in the area. Of course, its only Rock n Roll.but a lot of people seem to like it, like it, yes they do!!! Everyone knows about the sixties band ‘The Beatles’. They changed the face of Popular Music forever and are still as popular today as they were in the sixties.

With the aid of stage backdrops, wigs, specially tailored suits and all the original sixties equipment, (including Vox amplifiers and period guitars), THE SILVER BEATLES will give you an evening that appeals to all generations – creating an atmosphere that will certainly have you coming away feeling thirty years younger – if that’s possible!

‘The Silver Beatles’ are able to cover at least six of the significant eras of the Fab Four:-
· Hamburg
· The Cavern Club
· Beatlemania
· Shea Stadium
· Psychedelia and
· Apple.

However, most of ‘The Silver Beatles’ shows take the form of two forty-minute sets, which encompass many of ‘The Beatles’ hits between 1962 and 1970.

A theatre show, ‘From Us To You’ (The Silver Beatles at the Beeb), most recently headlining The Guildford Arts Festival, incorporates other actors into recounting ‘The Beatles’ story between 1962 and 1965. Act Two culminates in the recreation of one of the B.B.C.’s ‘live’ Beatles Radio shows, the public being actively invited to participate as if they had been part of the ‘original’ studio audience – clapping and screaming all the way!
