Don't Shoot The Messenger Promotions is a company that likes to keep things DIY. Putting on small intimate hardcore / punk shows over the past two years, DSTM has become a well recognised name in the UK hardcore community and aims to bring as many bands to the south coast of England as possible.

Currently based at The Edge of The Wedge in Portsmouth, DSTM has brought you bands like Hang The Bastard, Senator, Jealous, Mind Trap, The Long Haul, Kerouac, A Loss For Words, Landlocked, The River Card & Unrestrained just to name a few.
 
DSTM aims to put on at least one hardcore / punk show each month if not more, so come down and mosh and have fun DIY-style.

For the second time in as many Months DSTM welcomes some overseas friends to play for you lovely people. A show with a much heavier feel than normal will surely go down a treat in Portsmouth;

Countdown (Belgium)

Raw hard hitting hardcore from one of the biggest hardcore loving countries in Europe. Countdown have the feel of Hang The Bastard mixed together with Integrity. They have shared the stage with some great bands like TUI, H20, Rise and Fall and Bracewar. They are touring the UK to promote there new EP Blinded Souls. 


Offender

Portsmouth's very over own Post -hardcore boys Offender have been making a bit of a noise since the release of the song from their forth coming debut EP. With a finely polished sound for fans of Hundredth and The Ghost Inside. These boys have already started to get a bit of a local following. 


Mattox Yard

DSTM's boys from the Midlands, Mattox Yard bring a form of melodic hardcore similar to that of More Than Life, The Cold Harbour and Landscapes. The success of debut up Seisdon has been the flag ship release for DSTM and has also helped these boys get recognized in the UK scene.


Eyes Like Knives

Conceived in the summer of 2011, Eyes Like Knives fuse elements of rock 'n' roll, punk and hardcore. Since their formation they have shared the stage with many established bands such as: POLAR, BROTHERHOOD OF THE LAKE, GIANTS, HEART IN HAND, THE SMOKING HEARTS, LET'S TALK DAGGERS, SILENT SCREAMS, GOLDEN TANKS, HILDAMAY, BASTIONS and many more.


Doors will be an early 7pm as Countdown have to catch the euro tunnel back to Mainland europe.
